Can we get some CHANGE President Obama??

You say you are all about change.........so how's about you finally get rid of this whole daylight savings thing once and for all???? It messes up my system for two weeks, messes up my kids and screws up our sleep patterns. ENOUGH ALREADY! So do something I will actually agree with and abolish this antiquated thing!!

I HATE the time change, too! I get screwed up for at least two weeks every time!

Arizona doesn't do it anymore....why can't the rest of the country follow suit?

I'm with you on this one. We lived in Arizona for 7 years - no changing the clocks there!

Since I pretty much keep to whatever schedule I doggone feel like, the only thing it messes up is my tv viewing pleasure.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!!

I wish it would stay like this forever!!!

less energy consumption... more sunlight... I'm So Cali, and more sun is a good thing all the time!!!!

You do realize the extra hour of sunlight gives the farmers more time to bring in their crops. And it means you turn your lights on later, saving electricity. Those are good things, right?

I've been out of the bloggy loop. You can read why over at my place. Trying to catch up though! Sorry you didn't get date night, but it looks like Bella had a great time at Alex's. Both your girls are gorgeous! Oh, and I LOVE your latest card! I heart anything sparkly!

Yeah but, what happens when the sun gets too far ahead of us? Then what?

Does anyone know why daylight savings time was started anyway?

Heatherlyn said...

Wasn't it started for farmers? Or something? As some way to make more use of the day light? And then Pres. Bush changed the dates to somehow make it more energy efficient. Or something? Crazy.

I never really understood why they did this thing. I heard it is so the kids do not walk in the dark for school. But as far as I know it has never been dark for them.

I just don't get it.

2 thumbs up!! Get rid of it! Daylight saving does nothing but kick my butt since I had my son.

Go to Arizona, then! They have no daylight savings time. It is weird to live there and then not live there (or vice versa) because then you can forget if you even have daylight savings or not!!
