I love the Color Splash technique, especially in photography! Soooo gorgeous! I was excited about trying my hand using the colors the Play Date Cafe chose this week: lavender, gray, white and black. I also thought I'd use the Emboss Resist technique as well, to really make a 'splash' with my color splash, lol!My card for this week's consideration:
Recipe:Stamps: Vintage Vogue
Paper: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Going Gray, Whisper White, misc designer paper
Ink: Lavender Lace, Basic Black, Versamark
Accessories: white embossing powder, sponge dauber, lacey sq nestie, small oval punch, large oval punch, dimensionals, SU black ribbon, scallop corner punch

Love the way the lavender speaks out. Those are both beautiful cards...what do they say on the inside? I need a card for a friend whose significant other is dying of cancer....he is such a nice guy and he is grieving for her right now.
